Im not sure if its real musk but its smells of it and it says musk on the box but if its not real can it still work like the real musk?How does musk perfume sexually attract people and can it attract the same sex?
Musk is one of those attractor scents, and it can work on both men and women, and attract both opposite and same sex, so be careful where you where it!





It is the scent that says I'm open to offers and feeling hot. There are many many perfumes that contain musk to some degree and when combined with other warm, attractor scents can be extremely powerful. Good combinations are neroli (orange oil), jasmine, vanilla, cinnamon and ginger, labdanum.





It will not be real musk, it will be synthetic, sanetised and much diluted, but the basic fragrance is the same and evokes the same responses as the real thing - which is used to attract mates.





Interestingly, about 10% of the population are ';musk-blind';, they either can't smell musk or are insensitive to it. So it won't always work! I'm not certain but you may be referring to pheromone perfumes. Sexual attraction is thought to be governed to some degree by pheromones that everyone emits. They are picked up by sensors in the nose.





If this is what you are referring to then no, they cannot generally attract people of the same sex as there are male and female pheromones. I don't believe that such perfumes are regarded as at all effective. It may be an important factor in the animal kingdom but I don't think there is much evidence to suggest it is effective with humans.





Musk is obtained from a gland of a male dear. I don't think musk is obtained from this source anymore so on a technicality, it won't be real musk. It was used for it's odor not pheromone properties so any substitute that smells the same is just as good. I think you may be a little confused about the two kinds of perfumes.
UGGG!!! I really really hate musk. I prefer scents that are French or Itailian such as Boucheron or Claude Montana or Givenchy.

musk doesnt attract anyone, it blocks out the musks that repel people
